Andrea Cararo – UNITAR

Andrea Cararo has worked with the United Nations for the past 6 years. In 2016, he has joined the Chemicals and Waste Management Programme at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) where he is involved in the coordination of a large and diverse portfolio of projects that address environmental pollution, sound management of chemicals and hazardous waste streams, including plastic waste and e-waste. Over the years, he developed technical and institutional capacity for the monitoring of specific pollutants, access to and dissemination of environmental information, public participation and synergies across the chemicals and waste conventions. Andrea holds a Master of Science (MSc) in European Economy and Business Law at University of  Rome Tor Vergata with a focus on International Law, Economics and Social Development, after having completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Roma Tre University.
